Wotan’s long-suffering wife and the Goddess of family. Shows exasperation (and occasional bit of nagging) with her husband. Often proud but sometimes anxious mother to the Walküre. Tolerates husband’s infidelities and wanderings while trying to hold things together in Valhalla. Her interventions, although well-meaning, tend not to improve matters.
