La Bohème - Tickets for Hoxton Hall, 10th July, now on sale!

Mahler, Resurrection Symphony,

Last year, we put on a splendid orchestral concert of Strauss’ Alpine Symphony. We had a great time so we've decided to go one step beyond by programming Mahler's majestic Resurrection Symphony.
We begin with a nod to The Ring in the form of Wagner's birthday gift to his wife - the beautiful Siegfried Idyll.
Mahler's remarkable second symphony includes movements for solo mezzo and a moving choral finale with both mezzo and soprano. We welcome back our fabulous Erda and Flosshilde, Mae Heydorn as well as our magnificent Brünnhilde, soprano of the moment, Catharine Woodward.
If you would like to sing in the 100-voice chorus, along with members of the English Arts Chorale and London Gay Men’s Chorus, please do get in touch!
