February Newsletter - Two Weeks to FORZA!!

It's the CHORUS!
The chorus have been put through their paces, and today’s a huge day for them, running all of the chorus bits of the opera, so I thought today’s newsletter could focus on them a bit!
As we’ve already mentioned, this show has been financially perilous for the company. Not getting our Arts Council grant and the (fingers crossed) end of the pandemic have been really tough.
Many thanks to the two people who answered our December newsletter and have helped with funding, but we’re still about £10,000 short of where we’d like to be for this show. There are many ways you can choose to help us. You can sponsor a chorus member (£600), sponsor an orchestra member (£260), or indeed sponsor a principal (£1500). Or become a Friend of Regents Opera for just £75 a year recurring.
Anything would be appreciated!
We’ve had a great time putting together this fantastic show. Now we’d love to get paid properly, pay our bills, and be seen by as many people as possible.
Tickets are selling nicely - I hate it when arts groups write “Tickets are flying out the door”, because it actually means that they’re not! I’ll tell you the truth and say that tickets are selling nicely! There is availability on all dates. We’ve rethought the “early bird tickets” idea, in that if you come to the earlier shows, then the seats are cheaper. Come and see our show!
